The Senior Living Consultant provides the primary business development functions necessary to fill vacant units. They actively seeks out, generates, and follows up with business development prospects, providing relevant marketing information. They will conduct interviews and tours with prospects. In addition, they also assists in providing direction to marketing efforts through analysis, reporting of business development data, and participating in the development of the strategic marketing plan.
What will I do in this role?
- Generate, manager and follow up on prospect leads from a variety of referral sources, maintain contact with prospective residents, referral sources and other stakeholders.
- Show residential and service opportunities across campus.
- Receive inquiries from prospective residents, family members and referral sources, answering and directing questions appropriately.
- Process business development paperwork, including applications, contracts, and financials.
- Provide, review and present business development reports.
- Greet and provide tours to stakeholders and prospects.
What is required in this position?
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Social Services, or a related field.
- Valid Wisconsin drivers' license and good driving record.
- Ability to drive a motor vehicle and assist individuals getting in and out of a vehicle, as well as their wheelchairs, walkers, and other possessions.
- Proficient in written and verbal English and able to make sales presentations.
- Knowledge of effective sales management methods, including closing techniques.
- Minimum of 2 years previous sales or marketing experience in a senior living, acute care, or long-term care setting desired.
- Experience with Microsoft Office, CRM or other marketing management software.
